About Pediatric Orthopedics

Pediatric orthopedics is a sub-branch of orthopedics and traumatology that undertakes the follow-up and treatment of musculoskeletal problems seen in children under the age of 18. With the treatments applied in pediatric orthopedics, treatments are completed in childhood and our children are ensured to transition to adult life with the most normal and healthy musculoskeletal systems.

At least 80% of a pediatric orthopedist's patients are children.

The diseases that pediatric orthopedists treat can be briefly summarized as congenital anomalies, developmental problems, deformities, and injuries or fractures due to trauma.
